Raw Honey is one of the healthiest foods on the planet. Raw honey has natural enzymes and minerals. Its easily digestible sugars are great for maintaining high energy during fitness training. Raw Honey is also known as a natural antibiotic and is excellent in soothing coughs and sore throats.
This drink packs plenty of potassium, sodium, vitamin C, Ascorbic Acid, Calcium, Magnesium and antioxidants and can aid with stomach problems, dehydration and lack of energy.
• ½ Cup freshly squeezed Orange Juice (or any fresh orange juice that is not reconstituted)
• ¼ Cup freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
• 2 Cups natural raw coconut water
• 2 Tbsp. Orange Blossom Raw Honey
• 1/8 Tsp. Pink Himalayan Salt
Toss all ingredients into a blender and blend well until the honey and salt are well dissolved.
Pour into a tall glass cup, add ice cubes and decorate with Mint leaves (optional).
Make sure you blend all ingredients well, until the honey and salt are completely dissolved. You can store the drink in an air tight glass bottle (preferably) in the fridge for up to 2 days (This is a good time to use those fancy Mason Jars). If stored, shake well prior to drinking.
Drink this when you’re feeling ill, before and after exercise, or whenever you think you need to replenish your electrolytes.
